Hazardous Conditions & Do-Not-Clean Policy
The safety of our staff and clients is a top priority at Wicked Housekeeping LLC. For health, safety, and liability reasons, our cleaning professionals are not permitted to handle or clean certain hazardous materials or unsafe conditions.
If any of the following conditions are present, our team may decline service, stop service, or reschedule the appointment until the issue is properly resolved.
Biohazardous Materials
Our team is not trained or equipped to handle biohazard cleanup. This includes but is not limited to:
• Blood or bodily fluids
• Human or animal waste beyond normal household cleaning
• Vomit or bodily contamination requiring medical-grade sanitation
• Used needles or medical sharps
• Medical waste
Specialized biohazard cleaning services may be required.
⸻
Pest Infestations
We are unable to clean homes experiencing active infestations, including:
• Roaches
• Bed bugs
• Fleas
• Rodents
• Other significant pest activity
Cleaning may resume once professional pest control treatment has been completed.
⸻
Mold & Hazardous Substances
Our team cannot perform cleaning that involves:
• Extensive mold removal or remediation
• Exposure to toxic chemicals
• Unknown hazardous materials
• Chemical spills
Surface-level mildew removal in normal bathrooms may be addressed, but significant mold problems require professional remediation services.
⸻
Hoarding or Extreme Conditions
Homes with severe clutter, hoarding conditions, or excessive trash accumulation may require specialized cleaning services outside the scope of standard residential cleaning.
In these cases, Wicked Housekeeping LLC may:
• Provide a revised quote for extended cleaning services
• Recommend a specialized cleanup provider
⸻
Unsafe Working Conditions
For the safety of our staff, we may pause or decline service if the environment includes:
• Aggressive or unsecured pets
• Unsafe structural conditions
• Weapons left in open areas
• Threatening or unsafe behavior from occupants
• Temperatures that are unsafe for working conditions
⸻
Service Refusal
Wicked Housekeeping LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions pose a safety, health, or liability risk to our staff.
If service must be stopped due to hazardous conditions, the appointment may still be subject to partial service charges or rescheduling fees.
